Orlando Bike Bus

Students at an Orlando high school have grouped together to form a “bike bus” club. The bike bus groups bike riders together on their way to school and has a set route with scheduled stops adding to their numbers along the way. The idea is fantastic and kudos to the kids for organizing it. I’ve always been a fan of group rides and their empowering nature especially to newer riders. Riding a bike on the streets of America makes you feel small, alone, powerless but suddenly, those feelings disappear when you ride as a group! You regain the feelings usually only reserved for those behind the wheel.
