Dunlop valve key rack – another way to re-use

The list of ways to re-use bike tubes seems to grow endlessly. Just when I think I’ve seen them all…

Clever idea and easy to make yourself too :)

Found via Stilsucht & avail. in Germany at DaWanda (and no I don’t know what either of those names mean)

Update: These are not Presta valves as I originally mistok them for but rather Dunlop/Woods valve which are apparently much more common in Germany than they are in North America

    Interesting.

Not all of these are Presta valves. The valves on the right and left are the ones that were almost universal in the Netherlands, where I grew up. They use a short piece of latex tube to make a seal and they’re durable and easy to repair. I don’t know what these are called in English. We called the Presta valves French valves.

You caught me slacking! You’re right, those aren’t presta valves, they’re Dunlop/Woods valves. They’re quite rare in North American; I’ve seen only one or two in person before.
Thanks for the catch and thanks for reading :)
